Overclocked Weekly #2: Metroid Prime 1 and 2 go native, Breath of the Wild on Android and DroidDeck 0.6.7
Hi again! This issue covers October 24 to 30, 2026: the biggest handheld news, the native ports everyone's talking about, new emulator and GPU driver releases, compatibility reports and a guide worth your time.
Top story: Metroid Prime 1 and 2 now run natively on Android
Odrannnn's native Metroid Prime port reached 0.36.0 on October 29. It adds more Metroid Prime Remastered-style graphics (room fog and color grading, X-ray visor geometry, icy frozen enemies), custom control presets and a long list of fixes, with Android, PC and iOS builds. The same developer's Echoes Unbound now runs Metroid Prime 2: Echoes natively on Android, Windows, Linux and macOS, built from the PrimeDecomp decompilation with no emulator; 0.6.5 fixes the scan visor on Adreno 6xx. Both need your own disc image.

Compatibility reports
Christopher (Owner) put the Xendroid+ alpha Xbox 360 emulator through its paces on an AYN Odin 3 Pro with Turnip V38, and wrote up the experience in Xendroid+ is now my daily driver:
- Crackdown and Crackdown 2: Playable, 60 FPS with no hitches using Lossless Scaling frame generation. Crackdown wouldn't even load on the old XenDroid.
- Fable II: Playable at 26 to 30 FPS, with a blue tint on some surfaces and a glitchy dog.
- Midnight Club: Los Angeles: In-game but slow, about 20 to 22 FPS.
- Medal of Honor (2010): Broken for now.
