Recompa 0.4 redesigns the Android native-port launcher for dual screens and six library styles
Six styles and a second screen
- Settings → Style now offers Classic, Shelves, List, Arcade, Mosaic and Showcase. Each restyles the library, settings and port pages.
- Dual-screen layouts target devices like the AYN Thor: the secondary screen shows port details, galleries and the download queue while you browse on the main panel.
- Games with several ports share one page, so you pick which build to install and rate each port on its own.
- Downloads can pause and resume, galleries are larger, and a "recently added" section (plus a New badge in 0.4.1) surfaces ports that landed on the catalog's newest day.
- Ports that ship with an embedded emulator are supported as their own category.
0.4.1 polish
You can sort the library by original game name (ignoring accents and articles), recently added, recently updated or best rated. Every style now works in portrait: stacked headers, art above text on port pages, and full-screen settings that follow rotation without a restart. Showcase, Arcade and List focus and badge bugs from the redesign are cleaned up.
How to get it
Install recompa.apk from the 0.4.1 release over 0.4.0 (or jump from 0.3.x). Your ports and settings stay. Recompa still checks SHA-256 and signatures, and if recompa.app is blocked on a network it falls back to GitHub for the catalog and covers. As always, every port expects you to own the game; Overclocked never links ROMs or dumps.
