Metroid Prime port 0.37.0 and Echoes Unbound 0.7.0: lock-on aim, a dodge button, steadier save states and a new Enhancements page

2026-11-01 · By Overclocked Joe

Odrannnn shipped new versions of both native Metroid Prime ports on October 31: Metroid Prime port 0.37.0 in the morning and Echoes Unbound 0.7.0 for Metroid Prime 2 that afternoon (Pacific time). Both are built from the PrimeDecomp decompilations, so they run as real Android apps with no GameCube emulator, and both ship an arm64 APK alongside Windows, Linux, macOS and iPhone/iPad builds. If you're new to them, start with our Metroid Prime and Echoes Unbound explainers.

Metroid Prime 0.37.0

Echoes Unbound 0.7.0

Echoes Unbound is still an early release, so report bugs with the log from the in-game menu.

What you need

Your own disc image. For Metroid Prime: Metroid Prime Trilogy (USA R3ME01, PAL R3MP01) or the GameCube game (USA GM8E01 revisions 1.00 to 1.02, PAL GM8P01). For Echoes: the GameCube game (USA G2ME01, PAL G2MP01) or Trilogy. No game files are included, and Overclocked doesn't link any. The Android APKs need Android 9 or newer on arm64. Get them only from the official release pages: Metroid Prime 0.37.0 and Echoes Unbound 0.7.0. More native ports are in our ports directory.
